facilities for up to 100 delegates and excellent accommodation for groups
of up to 45 people.
We are located at Ohope Beach and the edge of Ohiwa Harbour, just 15
minutes from central Whakatane and only 25 minutes away from Whakatane
airport.
At Surf & Sand, you are completely away from it all. No urban chaos,
no concrete jungle, no traffic noise. Enclosed by 5 acres of beautiful,
tranquil park-like settings, you will find the only disturbance to be
the sound of the waves.

& Sand Conference Park is undoubtedly one of the best Wedding Venues
in the Bay of Plenty. Plan your wedding between Waitangi Weekend and the
weekend before Christmas and you can be guaranteed to have 5 acres of
Park-like surroundings on the beach EXCLUSIVELY. The Bridal Party together
with friends and family can relax as soon as they arrive knowing they
don't have to get in a car again until they head home.
