The Project Crimson Vision:
"To enable pohutukawa and rata to flourish again in their natural habitat as icons in the hearts and minds of all New Zealanders."

The Project Crimson Trust, in partnership with the Department of Conservation, is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of New Zealand's pohutukawa and rata trees.

Our focus has been two-fold; supporting active campaigns around planting and protection, and undergoing public awareness Project Crimsonwork to highlight the ecological, cultural, historic and aesthetic value of these trees to New Zealand.
Community and volunteer support is vital to Project Crimson's success.

The Trust works with organisations, communities and individuals throughout New Zealand and assists them by providing funding and ecologically-sourced trees for local projects, through a funding application process in March each year.

The Project Crimson Trust has a talented and extraordinarily knowledgeable group of Trustees based nation-wide whose drive, leadership and commitment to Project Crimson's vision is inspirational.
