The popular Ohope Christian Camp is owned by the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand and is available for campers from school, community, church groups or family groups. Accommodation, tent and camping sites are available.We can accommodate a total of 80 in bunks, 150 on site. We also have a large hall for inside activities.

Accommodation is in 2 blocks...

Horwell House has 4 units, each with 8 bunks, including a double bed, sink, fridge / freezer, microwave oven and 1 toilet per unit. Unit 1 has a shower / vanity.

Lilburn Lodge has 6 units each with own showers. All units are equipped with mattresses,table and chairs, stainless steel sink bench, frdge/freezer and full stove.

Catering is available for all camps on request or you may self cater.
Facilities include a modern kitchen, dining room and hall all under one roof and separate from the units, as is the ablution block with plenty of hot water, laundry and dryer.

A vast range of educational recreational and holiday activities are available on Ohope Beach, not to mention the wonderful safe surf beach that is second to none.

School and group camps

Accommadation: $15.00 per person per night. Day visitors: $5.00 per person per day. Hall / Kitchen hire: $60.00 per day, when self-catering.

Individual and family camps

Caravan sites with power per night: $12 for Adults or $5 for children under thirteen. Babies under one are free.
Tent sites: $12 for Adults or $5 for children under 13. Babies under 1 are free.
Units (sleeps up to 8): $50 for the first 2 Adults and $15 for additional Adults and $7.50 for children under thirteen. Babies under one are free.
NOTE: Over the summer holiday time, mid December to the end of February, there is a minimum charge of $60 per unit per night. Caravan and tent sites $15 per Adult, $7.50 for children under thirteen. Babies under one are free.

Hall Hire

$170 per day. Has proper catering kitchen facilities.
