Yan Ping has won numerous awards for photograhy including the 2015 Whakatane District Council Photo Competition, in the “Time to Shine” category with her photo of the Whakatane Heads at sunset. Again in 2015 Yan Ping also won the BirdsAplenty Photo Competition.
